They are also the parts nobody photographs: proper preparation, trade sequencing and coordination, structural and substrate conditions checked before anything closes them in, waterproofing and flashing, material transitions, manufacturer installation requirements, and the codes that apply to each one.

How soon can you begin?
It depends which kind of work, and on two different clocks: pre-construction and the build itself. For planned construction, once the design and scope are agreed there is still a pre-construction phase - municipal permitting and plan review alone commonly take 30 to 45 days, often longer once engineering, revisions, selections and material lead times are factored in - before the actual construction schedule begins. For restoration work, we begin once the property is safe to enter and insurance approval is secured. Timely action reduces damage and speeds your return to normal life.
Do you offer a warranty?
Mark Allen Builders will carry a 5-year craftsmanship warranty on our general construction work. Ask us for the exact terms before the job starts.
